Program Information
The idea of the Hall of Fame Café® took root in the summer of 2003, when a team came together to brainstorm and discuss the ways in which the importance of lifetime achievements, particularly
as it applies to individual’s living in today’s nursing and rehabilitation centers, could be recognized. The team felt that this would facilitate our vision and mission of “creating a revolution that
would radically change the long term care (LTC) landscape forever,” while providing recognition to those residents whose achievements and accomplishments were the cornerstone of our country’s, and their
community’s, growth and development. There is a rich history in our resident populations, and this history expands before our eyes each and every day.
As the program grew, the recognition of our dedicated stakeholders and our distinguished community members have now become a part of this honorary recognition.
Company and facility-based pride, combined with heartfelt appreciation and a deep understanding of the contributions made by these “Hometown Heroes,” was the impetus for establishing the Hall of Fame
Café® program. It is an honor for our company, and our facility-based stakeholders, to take this journey, this labor of love, to recognize the work ethic, energy, commitment, and dedication
of these special individuals who walk among us. It is our honor to induct these distinctive individuals into the Hall of Fame Café®, and into long term care immortality.
