Signature HealthCARE recognizes the importance of education for our Stakeholders and how this impacts the quality of care that our residents receive. In order to meet this, the Education Department will conduct needs assessments for improving quality of life, services and competencies in long term health care; provide adult learning certification to those teaching and training in our facilities; conduct and participate in research activities; disseminate and provide services to long term care providers, officials and legislators relating to quality improvement; provide consultation to facility or agency personnel, state officials and other health care professionals; and submit grant proposals to obtain funding for various projects to include research and workforce development training.
As the Executive Director of Education for Signature HealthCARE, Joe Barimo is responsible for providing education and training with a focus on adult learning strategies and high quality content using state-of-the art delivery systems. He also establishes community, university and business partnerships to promote education, training and quality service delivery in long term care.
